♫ Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap ♫
An avid-reader friend of mine recently told me that she already misses the girly kawaii me. If you're an old reader of Spotlight on Jamie, you would know that I used to wear a lot of pinks, skirts, bows, and all that girly stuff. However, after some mood changes and a little bit of ageing, my style shifted to shades of red and black and edgy stuff.
But don't get me wrong. I still love kawaii stuff, and you would notice that I'd still put a hint of cuteness on my outfits, like kawaii socks and accessories.
So recently, I've decided to wear something girly because honestly, I'm missing it too! And I've got loads of kawaii stuff in my closet just waiting for me to get worn!
I built my outfit with this kawaii slouchy beanie from The Green Tea Enthusiast Shop that I've been obsessing with for weeks now. The GT-E Shop is run by a 17 year-old tea lover from Manila and a Tumblr blogger, Ida Siasoco. All products sold in the shop are crocheted accessories 100% handmade-with-love by Ida!
I got this beanie customized by Ida. I personally picked the design and yarn color (this one's in Artist Print) to be used with my beanie. You can have it with bows or pompoms, but I sticked with a classic type slouchie. Other than beanies, they also sell bows, scarves and cozyheads. Can't find the right design/color for you in their product list? Don't worry! You can order a custom design product by just sending a photo or description you want and have a crochet accessory no one else has!
I super love the color of the beanie because you can easily match it with lots of color that's in it! With this outfit, I chose shades of magenta.
Matched my floral top with floral socks too! Got this floral see-through socks from Japan at Copo socks store. And of course, it should be paired with a kawaii platform sneakers!
So what do you think? Should I wear more kawaii outfits more often? Let me know your thoughts on the comment box below! ♡

Before anything else, I'd like to say that I hope everyone's doing fine here in the Philippines. Our country just got hit by the strong typhoon, Glenda. Our hometown got hit too, and I saw the aftermath of it just yesterday and it was frightening. I've been wide awake when this scary typhoon hit us, and I never stopped praying. We're so lucky that all of us stayed safe and dry, and I hope everyone's okay too. I hope my readers from the other countries (if I do have any) give a little help by praying too. It really does help.

It's been a while since I last blog an outfit post! I've been trying new things like lifestyle and food blogging (which I apparently haven't blogged all yet), and I'm honestly enjoying it. Because, uhh.. FOOD! Haha just kidding. And apparently, I don't have a photographer here in my hometown, so yeah. Expect more of this background on my outfit posts in this blog.
This is what I wore on the grand opening of Bigg's Diner in our hometown. I got invited to participate as one of their bloggers. You can read all about it here.
I don't really know what to wear on these kind of events. I thought of wearing something blogger-ish casual, but not over the top. Striking but still comfy, so I can move around to cover the event. And here's what I've decided to wear!
A printed muscle tee from Romwe.
A pair of jeans, added a plaid button-down on my waist for a more detailed look.
A pair of platform sneakers to give my outfit more attitude, but without sacrificing comfort! A very light houndstooth tote bag that can fit my life in it, including my humongous camera!
Kept my accessorizing simple with this Forever 21 holographic chain bracelet.
So what do you think of this outfit, guys? Yay or nay? Leave your comments below! ^_^

It's the month of July! My birthday month! *u* Updating my blog after a more-than-a-week-long absence in this platform. Our WiFi connection has been down for a while (it felt like forever) and now that it's all fine, I'm up for updating my blog!
*TADA!*
A not so recent news, but hey! I got featured by candymag.com as their It Girl on the Web last month! *o*
Isn't that amazeballs? I still got all the feels whenever I see my name and face on their site. I've been a fan of Candy Mag and candymag.com since I was in high school. And I remember that I used to actively participate in their forums and get a girl talk to other awesome girls around the country, and it was amazing. And what's more amazing than seeing yourself on the site you've been fangirling on since like forever? *eyes sparkle*

So much had happened last June 23rd and 24th at the HAVAIANAS... A Dream Photoshoot with mangoRED, I don't even know where to start! Maybe I should start by saying a big thanks to Havaianas for making this event a reality. I am so honored to be part of this event. And what can I say? It's really the right way to pamper your bloggers! And you'll know why on my series of blog posts about this event!
Inspired by today’s love for photographs, Havaianas put together a special 2-month promotion for Havaianatico couples who color their love story with the most colorful flip-flops in the world. Five couples from all over South Luzon are hailed as winners through a raffle draw supervised by respective DTI representatives on April 25.
Let's meet the lucky winners with some of the official photos of mangoRED!
Calamba winners, Ms. Catherine Manset and Mr. Arvin Dadios. They've been together for 5 years and 4 months already! They had a shoot with a romantic and dramatic feel, happy and colorful like Havaianas!
The youngest couple, Mr. Samuel Paolo Dumaguin and Ms. Charisse Cacdac from Lipa. They've been together just last year, and I bet it'll be for forever because of this very romantic Havaianas event! This is one of my favorite themes, I dub it as 'The Skater Lovers' lol. Shot at the skate park of Camsur Watersports Complex.
The Naga winners, Mr. Marcel Nuguit and Mrs. Leizel Ednor Nuguit, 29 and 28 years old. This couple's together for 16 years already, 2 years friends, 8 years in a relationship as boyfriend-girlfriend, and 6 years as married! Such a great foundation for a relationship.
My favorite couple, Mr. Sueño Luzada, 56, and Mrs. Nemia Luzada, 52. Such a cute couple at their 50s! They had their shoot at the Bigg's Diner Magsaysay with the theme vintage. Such a perfect theme for them as they've been together since the 80's! The reason for their all-natural sweet body language during the shoot! Ahh~ love.
Mr. Aaron Mark Castillo and Ms. Princess Sofia Cabrera (soon to be Mrs. Castillo!). Yes, they're about to get married soon! Such a lucky couple, they had their pre-nup shoot for free.. and by *THE* mangoRED! They were also, I think, one of the sweetest couples among the winners. Every time we hear Mr. Aaron introduce Ms. Princess as her "fiancée," we were like *dying out of kilig overdose!*
What's more overwhelming than witnessing love among these lucky winners, is witnessing how the Rockstars of Wedding Photography, mangoRED, do their magic behind the camera! It was amazing. They're so professional and have cool techniques on setting the mood of their models, which I don't know if I'm allowed to share here. Hihi.

This is just the first part of my #HavaianasXmangoRED #ExperienceCamSurWithHavaianas blog series! I've got a looot more to share with you. Stay tuned!

It's my birthday todaaaaay~!!! This is yet the most humdrum birthday of mine tho. No party celebration, out of town or whatever. Nothing thrilling. I'm just planning to spend my birthday at home with my family, maybe eat some of my favorite food, and go to church. But yeah, I am very much thankful for this day. This day marks my 21st year on earth! (Can you believe it, I'm already 21?!) I've got a very long list of things to thank God for. And definitely, my lovely readers made it to that list!
That's why I've decided to get this much delayed giveaway from La Belle Fille and me up on the day of my birthday! Thank you guys, like srsly. A lot had happened in my blogging career this year, and you guys are such a big part of it. I know a lot of you guys have been there since my Tumblr days, some are new, but are very supportive already, and I really hope we won't stop growing! And yeah, as a way of thanking you guys, this giveaway is for you!
La Belle Fille is famous for their very up-to-date and so chic but cute clothing, like this floral midriff top (that you'll be having a chance to win!). This online shop's based in Naga City, owned by Ms. Veronica Fuentebella. I'm kind of amazed by this shop because this shop is not just an ordinary business, but one with a cause. They don't just trade stuff but rather become partners for change.
Get a chance to win this pretty skater skirt too! And because it's my birthday, I'm also going to giveaway a surprise gift! I don't know yet what I'm going to give, maybe a DIY by me or some special stuff. I still don't know. But it'll sure be special! *wink* Wish I can all give you something, but yeah, there will only be one winner for all of these!
So yes, here are the very easy steps to follow to get a chance to win!
You don't have to do every single thing, but the more entries you have, the more chances of winning!
