I’ve been keeping this to you guys for quite a long time now, and now it’s finally out! From being just their blogger on their first issue, now, I’m already a contributor! AGORA Magazine is a non-profit online magazine dedicated to become a platform for up-and-coming Bikolano artists in the fields of Photography, Fashion, Beauty, Music, Literature, Film, Visual Arts such as Painting and Illustration, Theatre, Industrial and Interior Design and other fields of creativity.

Seeing my name and face in this very well admired and classy magazine is such an awesome feeling. I mean, this is a Bicol magazine, a fashion and arts magazine! This is HUGE!

This issue of AGORA has a theme of ‘saud’ or market. And in this issue, I raided all my favorite thrift shops / ukay-ukay here in Bicol to feature 6 head-to-toe thrifted looks that you’d never notice to be segunda mano clothing!

In this blog post is the first look in my fashion editorial with AGORA Magazine. The Athletic Chic look. I’ve created this look with this gorgeous watercolor-print tee as the main piece that I bought for only P50! Skort for also P50, Panda cap is P100.

And would you believe? This chunky heel boots is only P250?! And a total look of just P450!

I’m being a rebel in fashion now that I’ve become a non-follower of rules on specific styles and matching accessories and clothes. As long as it looks good to me and I’m comfortable with it, then I’ll feel good wearing it the whole day! I don't even care if it's just segunda mano or second hand. Because price really doesn't matter on clothes, with the right styling and mix-and-matching, and as long as you wear it with confidence and class, nothing can go on your way! *wink*

Unicorn

UNICORN~!!! Who wouldn't go cray cray for this shirt that I'm wearing?! Thanks to Elle Poupée for sending me this super kawaii unicorn shirt! They also told me that I'm the official model for this shirt design. So double YAY for that! o(^▽^)o

First outfit shoot since I got back from Japan! And much of a hangover of Japan, I've decided to have this outfit Tokyo Fashion-inspired! Well, with lesser kawaii accessories. lol I still don't have the guts to go full Harajuku on my outfits. I've seen how the Japanese people, especially the ones in Harajuku, dress up. And if you'd seen them too, you'd know I'd be embarrassed to call this Tokyo fashion. LOL just Tokyo fashion-inspired maybe!

As what I've observed in Tokyo fashion (both by seeing them personally and religiously stalking TokyoFashion.com), they do like unexpected layerings, play with colors, beanies, kawaii socks, and platform shoes. Hence, this look.

Elle Poupée sent me this rad beanie too!

Elle Poupee is a shop for girly and cute trends. Elle is a french word that means "she", while Poupee means "doll". Together, It means "she's a doll!"

An online shop granting every girl's dreams. Their products can hopefully bring out the little princess in you and satisfy your cravings for fashion and style. Elle Poupee offers a wide range of accessories (from rings and necklaces to earrings and bracelets). They also now sell kawaii shirts, like what I'm wearing!

New favorite rucksack my mom bought at a recycle shop (like an 'ukay-ukay' here in the Ph) in Japan for 300yen only! Unfortunately, I wasn't around when she went to that recycle shop! I would've hoard all the adorbs Japan stuff there! HAHA

Amethyst Superb

Indie Bohemian Side

"In The Bohemian Side" #pun :3

I was supposed to go full bohemian on my outfit because of the lovely bohemian accessories I received from Amethyst Superb and The Green Tea Enthusiast Shop, but decided to go indie instead, because of my urge to wear black tights again. It's kind of my thing now. High-waist shorts + black tights + platform shoes. Have you noticed on my outfits this past few months? :)

I've had a brief visit in Naga City earlier this month, so I took the opportunity to have a quick shoot in the city where there are lots of people who can help me with taking my OOTDs! Haha. You can't imagine my struggle with taking my OOTDs all by myself here in my hometown. Hihi. Ahh~ I really missed Naga! Endless pretty shoot locations, and of course, the people there! Shot this in front of the beautiful Holy Rosary Minor Seminary. It's my first time to shoot there!

Because my accessories are colorful already, I've decided to make my outfit as basic as possible, black and white!
